Tropical rainforests are found in the area called the tropics which is located in between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. There are many places than contain tropical rainforests. The biggest rainforest, The Amazon, is located in Brazil, South America. The Amazon rainforest is made up of 54% of all rainforests in the world. Tropical Rainforests have lots of different factors for vegetation to grow. Some of those biotic and abiotic factors include different light amounts, different amounts of rainfall and how much nutrients are collected. Many tropical rainforests are found near the equator or the southern region of Africa, South America and Western Australia. Energy flows through the ecosystem by the energy locked up in faeces which the decomposers or the detritivores will decompose to get the locked up energy into the soil, which starts the cycle again.
